Chrome with GPU acceleration is being shown off now, nice framerates with a large amount of sprites. He is using the "fish tank" demo. He got up to 1000 fish on the screen and still had a great framerate.12.44

Chrome speech being demo'ed inside of Google Translate, where your spoken word is being translated into text, then being translated into any language through that service.12.42
Heh, the Chrome team member's name is Ian Ellison-Taylor, and he just added a voice search function to an app that did not have it before, and was surprised that it worked. Still a pretty cool demo of what is possible with Chrome OS12.40

Vic has introduced Sundar for the Chrome OS Keynote. Sundar has announced that there are 160 million Chrome users. A large increase over last year, when Chrome 4 launched.
